T-Shirt Design Contest
We're considering printing SOS T-Shirts. Please email Minitrue with
your designs. If we like one of them enough to print up a bunch,
we'll send the artist a free shirt or two, as well as some other
incentives if we come up with any. We're more inclined to print
designs that use a small number of colors (one or two).
Rules
In no particular order:
- Please send proposed T-Shirt designs to Minitrue. Everyone
is eligible, even Party members and judges.
- To be considered, designs as receieved must be actual
graphic files in some format that the Party can read, not merely
textual descriptions of proposed designs.
- At some point, the Party will declare that enough entries
have been received, and that the contest is over.
- After that point, the judge(s) will be invited to judge the
entries. If the judges are worthy of the title, they will
select at least one design as the
winner.
- Depending on the status of the Party treasury at that
point, t-shirts in the image of the winning design may be
offered for sale. The Party reserves the right to modify the
design if it sees fit.
- If t-shirts are printed and offered for sale, two such
shirts, in the sizes of the artist's choice, will be sent by
mail to the artist. The Party shall attempt to find the
artist's mailing address in its vast records, but may rely on
the artist for confirmation of this.
- Whether or not t-shirts are offered for sale, the winning
artist will get a super-k3wl
@studentsfororwell.org e-mail forwarding
address.
- The entrants retain all copyright to their submissions,
but grant SOS a non-exclusive right to display the submissions
on the website and to print t-shirts using them.
- I am not a lawyer.
- If you have any questions, email Minitrue.
- Some tips: one or two colors of ink is probably
best. We're not necessarily limited to white shirts. Simple
designs will win the judges' favor, and are also generally the
easiest to print.
